FishingDenmark was conceived in late 2018. We saw a potential for a site that unified all of fishing Denmark into one site that could offer people looking to go fishing in Denmark an easy to use tool.
The focus was then, and still is, on geographic information, spot listings, accommodation possibilities, where to find various fishing-related points of interests and one of the main keystones a comprehensive list of fishing guides all throughout Denmark.
As this is very much a community driven site, we have decided to soft-launch the site while it is still under development simply because we believe in close community engagement and suggestions while we develop the site. We do not believe in small focus groups and expert panels to decide the way to go.
If you would like to contribute in any way. Write texts, write code, offer suggestions and comments. Please feel free to contact me via Facebook.
Even though we are all fishermen, and woman, and we tend to hold our info to our self, it is our firm belief that commonly known data should be set free for everyone to use.
That is why we have decided to offer all of our map data free of charge with no strings attached to anyone who would like to enhance their own fishing website with location info of fishing spots.
Below you can find a list of our GeoJSON feeds that can help you on your way. Feel free to use them as you like. We would love a mention on your site, but neither this is a requierement.
